Coming from the North
- Take the Autostrada del Sole to Naples (A1)
- Follow the green sign "Salerno-Reggio Calabria on the motorway (A3)
- EXIT at Castellammare, the stop immediately after the exit for Pompeii and follow the sign "Meta di Sorrento-Positano"
-After the entrance of Positano, follow Via Pasitea, the one-way road down (Do not turn left)

Coming from Salerno - Take the Amalfi coast road and drive to the entrance of Positano at Chiesa Nuova. The internal road in Positano is a one way street. When you arrive at this point, take Via Pasitea, the one-way down through the town, and the Hotel Poseidon is about 1.5 Km on the left hand side of the road.

By public transportation from Naples - There is a train called "Circumvesuviana" which leaves from under the central station in Naples (Napoli Centrale - Piazza Garibaldi) to Sorrento. On arrival in Sorrento, the Sita bus stop for Positano is outside of the train station. Buy your tickets at the station before taking the bus.

By public transportation from Salerno - Take a Sita bus to Amalfi and then change there to another Sita bus to Sorrento and get off in Positano. Buy your tickets before taking the bus.

By public transportation from Rome - The bus company Marozzi leaves from Rome (Piazza Tiburtina) to Positano. However you must contact the hotel regarding dates and times. Tickets must be bought at the station.
