To get to the Relais coming from either Milan or Rome: 

Take the A1 Autostrada and get off at the Valdichiana exit n. 28; immediately turn right and take the ‘Superstrada’ towards Perugia. 
At the second exit for Cortona, turn left and follow the indications for Montepulciano.  Upon arrival at the fork of Pozzuolo-Petrignano, turn left and go through the town of Petrignano, and a short time after on the left you will find the Relais.

Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR): Approximate driving time to Relais Alla Corte del Sole is 80 minutes and distance is 130 kilometres (81 miles).

Getting there: The city centre is a 15-minute taxi journey from the airport costing €15-16. An airport bus leaves every 30 minutes and transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. A single ticket is €6. From here take a train to Terontola, 10 kilometres from the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost around €160. All prices subject to change.

Driving directions: From Florence take the A1 motorway towards Rome. Leave the A1 at the Valdichiana exit then follow signs for Perugia. Take the motorway in for Perugia and after about 12 kilometres take the second exit for Cortona. Follow signs for Montepulciano and after six kilometres turn left to Petrignano. Pass the small village of Petrignanao and the hotel entrance is on the left (it is a small road with large flower pots).

Getting around: Due to the countryside location of this property a hire car would be recommended to explore the surrounding areas.
