The origins of "La Solaia" go up to the middle age, immediately the position reveals the oddness of a village  on the top of a panoramic hill, always sunny by the west and the east. Situated on the top of a hill, between Chianti and Valdichiana, the Relais overlooks the Valley of Monte San Savino that is 6km far away. The place is ideally located for shorts trips to some of the most famous art cities of central Italy, such as Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano, Florence, Perugia, all within an hour's drive.
