Villa Serena

By car: from Milan, Rome, Florence exit from the highway A1 at the exit “Valdichiana” and get on the highway towards Perugia. After a few chilometers you can leave the highway nearby the “Farneta Abbey” for a short visit, as it is a suggested interest point for its XI century crypt and the archaeological museum. If you choose not to stop, once you reach “Camucia” town you can then go uphill to Cortona, if you are heading to “Villa Serena”. The villa is located on the right side of the hill, between the green areas and can be reached by via Gino Severini, which leads to “Le Contesse” and “Palazzone” areas. If you’re going to the residence “Il Casale” just reach the street “S71” which goes across Camucia, and head towards “Arezzo”. Once passed “Il Sodo” and its Etruscan tombs, on the right and just a few meters from the street you’ll see the residence.

By train: The most close station is “Camucia” . Many trains stop regularly at the “Terontola” train station, which is just 5 kilometres from Camucia and 10 from Cortona, or Arezzo which is about 30 kilometres from Cortona and 25 from residence “Il Casale”.
