Villa Marsili, is a four star hotel, very close to the historic centre of the beautiful Etruscan and Medieval hill town of Cortona, in Tuscany. The building, originally an ancient 15th century church, was converted into a patrician palazzo (Villa Marsili) in 1786. The recent restoration of the villa has allowed the recovery of architectural and stylistic features lost over the centuries through earlier renovations.

The villa today has 26 rooms (three suites, six deluxe, twelve classic and five single rooms) with panoramic views either over the valley or over the ancient town houses. The rooms are all elegantly furnished with many antique period pieces and offer every comfort: Jacuzzi bath, telephone, TV (CNN World and BBC World), internet connection, air conditioning, minibar, hair dryer and safe. Villa Marsili offers guests a breakfast buffet with a rich selection of Tuscan specialties. Every evening guests may also enjoy a complimentary aperitif on the garden terrace with views of the Valdichiana Valley and Trasimeno Lake. The hotel has its own restaurant (on request) and private parking. Cooking classes and guided art or wine tours around Tuscany and Umbria can also be arranged by the hotel. can also be arranged.
