If you arrive by train.
From the train station you can get a taxi that will bring you to the Basilea in 2 or 3 minutes. By foot (with light baggage) you can walk from the train station to the Hotel in 7 minutes. When arriving, exit the Train station on the left side. Turn left in Via Nazionale, turn right in Via Guelfa. As soon as you turn you will see the sign of the Hotel Basilea entrance.

If you arrive by car.
Driving from the highway: FROM THE HIGHWAY A11 exit FIRENZE NORD, and follow directions toward CENTRO. You will reach PORTA AL PRATO. Turn left along VIALE FRATELLI ROSSELLI, then VIALE FILIPPO STROZZI, and VIALE SPARTACO LAVAGNINI. At the middle of this boulevard there is a red light. Turn right into VIA S. C. D’ALESSANDRIA, straight ahead cross PIAZZA INDIPENDENZA and turn left in VIA GUELFA.
