For shopping, head for the Rue Saint Antoine and the entire Saint Antoine district or the Marais area, with its fashion and home deco stores that are open every day, even on Sundays. For antique shops and art galleries, it’s the village of Saint Paul you’ll want to visit.
To go out on an evening, there is of course the Opéra Bastille opposite the hotel; or the very lively Rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, Rue de la Roquette and Rue de Lappe with their many bars and restaurants.
The Pavillon Bastille is just a stone’s throw from the trendy Marais district, the Place des Vosges with its restaurants under the arches; it is also closely located to cinemas, theatres and café theatres as well as the Palais Omnisports de Bercy.
Whether you prefer walking or taking the metro, the Pavillon Bastille is ideally located in the 12th arrondissement, between the Bastille Opera House and the Marais district. From the hotel it’s so easy to get to the Picasso and Carnavalet museums, the Hôtel de Sully and of course the Louvre.

The Pavillon was completely renovated in May 2007 and great care was taken to soundproof rooms and to provide high-quality air-conditioning. All rooms have Wi-Fi, cable TV, radio, individual room safe, hair dryer, wake-up service and mini bar. Of the 25 rooms, 17 are ‘standard’ and overlook the rue de Lyon and the terrace; 7 are larger; 1 is specially equipped for disabled guests. Note that we can also unlock doors between adjoining rooms to form a 4-person ‘family’ room with 2 bathrooms and 2 television sets.
