Hotel Saint-Paul

43, rue Monsieur le Prince - 75006 Paris

**SMOKE-FREE/TOTALLY AIR CONDITIONED HOTEL**

**Yearly Specials-Only available through Small & Elegant Hotels**

For the last four centuries these stones have guarded the spirit of the Latin Quarter, between the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg Gardens. Many years ago Franciscan monks were lodged here…

The warm decor of this hotel, steeped in tradition, its wooden beams and Haute- Epoque furnishings, the comfortable reading-room dotted with an ecological fireplace, the individual welcome accorded you and not forgetting Skype the cat, lazing at reception, will give you the impression of being a special guest in a private residence.

A most charming hotel, ideally situated at the heart of Parisian way of living, in a street historically renowned, which owes its name to the Prince de Condé- known as “Monsieur”and cousin of Louis the XIVth.

In each of the 31 rooms and suites of this 17th century dwelling the interior decorator has left his mark; no room resembles another. Some have four-poster beds; another has a ceiling with little twinkling lights and a Jacuzzi and, more, a still life deception. All rooms have air-conditioning.

The buffet breakfast is served in a delightful vaulted cellar containing an original well. The patio next to reception and situated on the lie of the ancient Philippe Auguste defensive wall, contains a tiny flowered garden, furnished with impressive Anduzian vases.

Bon Appétit et Bonne Nuit

I highly recommend the Hôtel Saint-Paul in the Latin Quarter (43, rue Monsieur le Prince). It’s just off Rue de Vaugirard, between Luxembourg Gardens and the Seine. Charming décor, quiet and spacious rooms, spotlessly clean and convenient to the Sorbonne, the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain.   Guests are usually greeted at registration by Sputnik the cat, who always seems to remember repeat guests who bring him little gifts and snacks. Very quaint and charming, and SO Parisian!

Comments from past clients -

"The Hotel St. Paul was perfect.  The location was great and our room was spacious, a little quirky, with a bathroom that was one of the best I have seen in any hotel in Europe.  More than the room, the people who work there were so warm and accommodatin--we felt very well cared for."

"Our trip was wonderful and Hotel St. Paul could not have been better.  The people were so nice and helpful.  I only wish we could have stayed longer."

"There were many things we loved about Saint Paul: the location (which was close to the metro and many sites were walking distance to hotel), the breakfast and the staff."

" Centrally located just a few blocks from Metro in Sarbonne "medical" district. Lots of students, books, etc. Close to shopping, including music stores, etc. Breakfast in the "cellar" was good and a very cool atmosphere. Nice, friendly, helpful staff and a very quiet location. Small, but nice garden in the lobby adds a warm touch. Rooms are are very European, and the bathrooms are a cut above."

"We loved the Saint Paul, very cozy and nicely located in the Latin Quarter, so we could walk to everything we wanted to see. The hotel is off the beaten path, so you are not on a noisy street. We had a very comfortable stay and would go there again."

"Thanks again for your help booking the St. Paul.   I had another excellent stay and look forward to returning.  The staff are all such nice people, always helpful, friendly -- they make it fee like home, significantly more so than any other hotel I have stayed at while in Paris."
