The
Golden Well Hotel, once home to Emperor Rudolf II, is located below the walls of the Prague
Castle and surrounded by the Castle rose gardens in the quaint Mala Strana or the

elegant U Zlate Studne restaurant (At the Golden Well) offers guests a choice between the
intimate main dining room, which seats 26 guests, or the rooftop terrace which is able to
seat 38 people. You can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Prague while relaxing by the
classic Czech or innovative international cuisine. The "City of 1000 Spires"
provides a spectacular backdrop to a relax dining.
After
your lunch you can enjoy a walk in the gardens of the Prague Castle (during the opening
hours). The direct entrance to the gardens from the restaurant terrace used to serve as a
private entrance for the Emperor Rudolf II.
The
restaurant is located on the fourth floor with the view that will convince you that Prague
is really the city of one hundred spires. The restaurant's new interior is the work of
Italian architects Lorenzo Carmelini and Katrin Herden, in which they have again used
their typical style that consists of interesting combination of modern design with the
elements of the Renaissance era.
Award winning Executive
Chef Pavel Sapik is a member of the Czech national culinary team and a gold winner at the
Culinary Arts World Competition which was held in Singapore. Carefully selected wine list
compliments the appetizing menu and together with excellent service ensures a memorable

Similar to the deluxe room in many aspects, superior rooms are located on the first
through third floors facing the charming cobblestone courtyard. Four of the superior rooms offer a view of the
Royal Gardens. They are not as bright as deluxe rooms as they feature smaller windows. All
seven stylish and comfortable rooms come with wooden floors, one king size or two twin
beds, sitting area or writing desk. Room
preferences cannot be guaranteed in this category.

Overlooking Prague's rooftops or the Royal Gardens, these comfortable rooms are everything

In addition to the features described above, Deluxe rooms offer breathtaking
views, luxury bedding, and complimentary late check-out (based upon availability). Deluxe rooms feature wooden floors, one king size
or two twin beds, sitting area or large writing desk. Elegantly equipped with renaissance
style furnishing from Richelieu Company, they are the perfect base for your adventures in
the beautiful city of Prague. All 10 deluxe rooms are located on the first through fourth
floors of the building. Room size: 24 - 32 m2 / 258 - 344 ft2
Grand deluxe room
Savor the atmosphere of the spacious Grand Deluxe rooms opening up to the survey of Prague’s
skyline or the splendor of the royal gardens. Grand
Deluxe rooms feature above all the glowing views of the landscape awash with slender
skyline of the centuries old city's red rooftops or the flourishing brilliance of the
Royal Baroque gardens. The rooms provide an ample space and are equipped with large
working desks, sitting areas, featuring wooden floors, king size or two twin beds, jacuzzi
