U Pava
4 Star****
U Luzickeho seminare 32
118 00 Praha 1 - Mala Strana
Prague Czech Republic

Hotel U Pava welcomes you to the magical city of Prague.  Impressive facades, glorious monuments, and new tastes and smells will conjure up images of past splendor while you stroll through the picturesque part of Old Town and Lesser Town or dine in a candlelit wine cellar from he 16th century.  Located in the heart of the Prague, the hotel is within walking distance of well-known monuments and important cultural sites.

The hotel "At the Peacock" is situates nearby the Charles bridge-just a few steps from a cozy corner of Old Prague, on the Kampa Island.  The street was named after the Lusatioan seminar, which was constructed in the years 1726-1728 by K.I. Dienzenhoffer.

Having been completely renovated in 1991, the house was saved from destruction, which was imminent.  The hotel succeeded in saving its historical character of the building and creating a luxurious place with all the comforts for its guests at the same time.   The ancient atmosphere is increased by furniture made from dark nutwood, by crystal chandeliers and many valuable original works of art. The hotel does have WIFI as well.

Comments from past clients -

"I wanted to drop you a quick line and let you know how much I have enjoyed using your services.  The hotels that you arranged for me and my husband in Prague and Berlin where just wonderful.   I always feel confident when I am going to a place recommended by you because I know I will be in a great location at a charming hotel with wonderful staff."

"We were given the top floor suite, like a garrett room, and it felt very private.  A great location, within walking distance to virtually everything.  We also ate dinner at one of the restaurants your New York Times article mentioned (that was sent to me), the U Zlate Studne, and it was elegant and fabulous.  I must also highly recommend another restaurant owned by the same guy, for anyone else who happens to ask -- it is the Pilffy Palace, directly across a narrow street from the Wallenstein Palace in Little Town.  It is a music school and conservatory/restaurant, with the most exquisite food, served in gracious high-ceilinged rooms with massive flower bouquets and bowls of fruit (whole coconuts!) on every table."

"U Pava was great!"

"Just loved U Pava!!"
