How to reach us

Hotel Palazzo Papaleo is located behind the Basilica in the historic center. The area has limited traffic to preserve the tranquility and beauty of the area. You can leave your vehicle at the attended parking lot that is partnered with our property, just 250 meters from the hotel.

By Car
Take the Brindisi-Lecce highway and follow the directions for Maglie-Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca; exit heading towards Otranto, pass the town of Palmariggi by driving on SS 16 "Adriatica" for about 10 kilometers. After passing the exit for Otranto on your left, follow the road along the viaduct. Turn right at the second Otranto exit keeping level with flyover heading towards downtown, enter into via Antonio Primaldo. Once downtown, turn left onto via San Francesco di Paola, then right into via delle Torri and then carry on as far as Lungomare degli Eroi; after few meters, turn right onto via della Basilica, that will take you to number 1 of via Rondachi, where Hotel Palazzo Papaleo awaits you. 

By Train
From the station of Lecce take Ferrovie del Sud Est's local line that in about 1 hour will take you to Otranto. Hotel Palazzo Papaleo is in via Rondachi n. 1, 900 meters away from the local train station.

By Plane
Brindisi's "Papola Casale" airport is about 85 km from Otranto and is connected with Lecce and its provinces by local buses and trains; taxi service and car rentals are available at the airport as well.
