Hotel Columbia, entirely renovated, is conveniently situated, in the heart of the historic centre of Rome, between the Opera House and the Diocletian Baths which are Rome's largest outdoor ruins & antiquities museum. The Spanish Steps are about a 5 minute cab ride away. Around the corner is Museo Nazionale Romano, which holds most of the antiquities found in Rome since 1870 and is one of the world's leading museums of Classical art. It is within walking distance to Termini, the main railway station and air terminal, where taxis, buses and the underground (subway) can be taken to all places of interest.
The hotel is characterized by a roof garden where a large buffet breakfast is offered in the morning and during the day a bar lounge are at disposal of the guests. The guest, upon entering the Hotel Columbia for the first time will be surprised by the comfortable and the refined atmosphere, which will immediately give the feeling to be right at home. The furnishing is cozy and extreme care has been taken with the details. All 45 bedrooms are bright and equipped with private bathroom, direct dial telephone, minibar, satellite television, room safe, plug modem and air conditioning. Service is efficient, rapid and attentive to all needs of guests, assuring maximum tranquillity for their stay.

As our aim is to maintain updated the Hotel and to give our guests the best service we can, we are scheduling in this days the substitution of the elevator. The new elevator will accomplish the latest Safety & Fire European laws, will be bigger, more comfortable and will be wheelchair accessible.
The oldest elevator will be out of order from July the 10th and the new one will be on service from August 22nd.
Hotel Columbia is made by one ground floor and 3 upper floors where all the rooms are located. On the fourth floor we serve the breakfast and there is located our roofgarden. We will take care to assign rooms on the lower floors and will do our level best to assist you with all your needs. During the time, that the elevator will be out of order, the breakfast can be taken on request in the room free service charge.
We are hopeful that there won’t be any noisy disturbs, because it is not provided to do works on the walls.
