The Palazzo al Velabro is situated in the center of Rome, in an unique position looking toward the Palatino Hill, surrounded by greenery, very quiet, near the centre but far from street traffic, facing Piazza della Bocca della Verità, with the Arch of Giano, the Church of S. Giorgio al Velabro and the Temple of Vesta. They are just a 10-15 minute walk from Travestere which is just down the hill and across the Tiber River.
Welcome! From the elegant Hall of the 'Palazzo al Velabro' you can reach the refined Bar and the Apartments. Our reception will offer you services of permanent Hall-porter. Besides, our staff will be able to organize any kind of tour for you, or to give you the opportunity to rent high representative private cars, too. Our apartments comprise a sitting-dining room with kitchenette and a variable number of bedrooms with bath, and have different rates depending on the combination. The careful and comfortable apartment furnishings include a complete set of linen, radio, television with satellite, telephone and air conditioning. Maid service is provided seven times a week; moreover you can have laundry service inside the Residence. Daily pick up of laundry and returned the next day. As soon as you enter in one of the apartments you can find the sitting-dining room with kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a full cooker, microwave (on request), freezer, full cooking utensil and cutlery. Continuing there is a bath-room with bath and shower and hair-dryer. Carrying on, 'open' the door to go into the bedroom! From our bedrooms you can enjoy beautiful view to the Palatino Hill , behind the steeple of the church S. Giorgio al Velabro. You can enjoy beautiful view also to the Temple of Ercole , called Temple of Vesta, of the I century b.C., with its corinthian columns.General Information

"The Velabro in Rome could not be more perfectly sited for those interested in old Roman sites. No more than 20 yards in front was the Arch of Janus. Twenty yards from it was another roman arch. Across the street was the Round Temple(sometimes called for Hercules), next to it was a temple whose name forget) that was being redone. Fifty yards behind us the street bordered immediately on the Forum. Not far up the street was the Theatre of Marcellus. And across from it the Capitoline Hill, with all the marvelous structures it has. The rooms were fine – large and semi-adjoining. The desk people were very helpful. Etc. Don’t hesitate to recommend it to those interested in such surroundings. It was perfect for us"
