In the hearth of the most beautiful Tuscany, located on the top of a hill, rises "Il Casale Del Marchese", a former 18`" century countryside abode which has been tastefully restored in a charming place where comfort and elegance combine with the ancient rural tradition. 

THE BEAUTIFUL TUSCANY 

"Il Casale del Marchese" has a strategic location which enables to easily reach most artistic places both Tuscan and Umbrian like Siena, Crete Senesi, Val d'Orcia, Firenze and Perugia.

The privileged location of "Il Casale" permits, moreover, to enjoy a large view of the surrounding hilltops towns as the etruscan Cortona, the medieval Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano and Lucignano.

A great serenity characterizes the atmosphere of this places comprised of a main villa and three cottages, all surrounded by a magnificent garden with ilexes and cypresses.

The romantic rooms are furnished with an enjoyable mix of rustic and antique-trade pieces with precious clothes and delightful frescoes.

Little private gardens transform the cottages into "nests", shelters full of comfort for an ideal stay for everyone who looks for peacefulness and reservedness, always nestled by the young owner's discreet attention who allows the guests to enjoy an old time atmosphere.

Spacious lounge-rooms and intimate relaxing areas, lead to a suggestive winery, furnished with great originality.

The swimming-pools immersed into the Tuscan green, the flowering arbours and the old wood-burning oven in the olive groves, transform "Il Casale" into a quiet and relaxing oasis. 

LODGINGS OF "IL CASALE" 

COLOMBAIO (MAIN VILLA)
The suite is located on the top floor of the villa and has the peculiarity to enjoy a breathtaking view as for as the eye can see. The floor and the trusses have been preserved. The central truss has been used in a very original way to make a suggestive tester which overhangs the wrought iron pastoral. 

DELUXE ROOM (MAIN VILLA)
There are four rooms at the first floor of the villa, and all of them enjoy a great view on the surrounding hills. The interior walls are characterized by pastel colour decorations and the exquisite antique-trade furniture has been chosen with refinement and meticulousness.

 COTTAGE ”IL FIENILE”
"Il fienile" was once considered the hay-loft, it has been turned into a Marchese's nest. It is divided in two floors: the first one opens on a soft-coloured living-room and a double-room (whit a shower bath-room) where the light blue of furniture contrasts with the golden colour of th bed. The second floor opens on a loft furnished with a touch of originality which combines the bed with an old iron bath-tub. Outside, wooden stairs lead to relaxing private garden and the nice swimming-pool to share with the next door cottage "Il Vecchio Forno".

 COTTAGE “IL VECCHIO FORNO”
"Il Vecchio Forno" used to be the villa's kitchen, it has now become a tasteful cottage whit a graceful living-room with a barrel brick vault. The sides are entirely painted to create a floral patio from which stands out romantic fire-place. The precious bedroom comprises an ancient decorated wrought iron bed, a large window that opens on a private garden which lengthens towards a relaxing area. The nice swimming-pool and its characteristic gazeboes are shared with the adjacent cottage "Il Fienile" and give to both structures a wrapping atmosphere. 

COTTAGE “LA GRANCIA”
"La Grancia", (the barn), has been transformed into a nice cottage with an elegant living-room entirely painted in the centre of which, there is a fare-place hiding the cooking corner. The double-room has a lovely curtain acting as a frame for the head of the wrought iron bed. The small private garden is a terrace with a fine view over the villa's swimming-pool and the surrounding hills.

Rates do not include heat or AC! Saturday to Saturday stays only.  *Great for weddings & events*. Nearby cottage may be able to accomodate an additional 16 people for larger groups.
