Its particular geographical position permits easy connections with rich centers in art, history and culture like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa and Volterra, and assures a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Monteriggioni is a little village located in the province of Siena . The magnificent walls, built during the first two decades of the 1200 and immortalized by the great poet Dante Alighieri, are still intact and include 14 towers.

Monteriggioni was built by the Senese people as a defensive rampart against the invasion of Florentines.

While its population consists only 60 people, Monteriggioni's commune is situated in a vast countryside.
