Villa L'Ultimo is a beautiful, charming, stone farmhouse villa that has been perfectly restored and equipped with all of the most modern and comfortable conveniences. It is situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico about 6 kms from Radda in Chianti. The villa stands on a hill in a charming and panoramic position with views of the Chianti hills and valleys, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Albola Castle, an ancient fiefdom of the Granducato of Tuscany is part of the smaller hamlet just down the road from VIlla L'Ultimo and can be seen from the property. Villa L'Ultimo was once actually part of the numerous buildings belonging to the castle where in medieval times, the Sienese and Florentine troops were located to defend their borders. The villa farmhouse is  very comfortable and surrounded by 2 hectares of private property with well-tended lawns and woodland. The entire property is gated and ideal for families and friends.

The 20 x 40' swimming pool is in an incredible panoramic setting and is reserved exclusively for use by the guests. There is a shaded pergola with sun loungers, and refrigerator adjacent to the pool.  Private parking under a covered loggia.

The villa accommodates 6 people and is approximately 1800 sq ft.

The interior of the villa is composed as follows:

Ground floor: very well equipped kitchen (large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, 4 gas burners, microwave and other appliances); the adjacent open plan living/dining room area has an open fireplace, 1 twin or double bedroom (has direct access to garden area) with ensuite bathroom (Jacuzzi and shower), a washroom and storage room with washing machine and dryer.

First floor (there are 14 steps going up to this floor): 1 twin or double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (Jacuzzi bath and shower); 1 double bedroom with bathroom (Jacuzzi bath and shower) with access to a closed veranda equipped with sunlamp, a sauna and a large Jacuzzi hot tub (the veranda also has air conditioning and outside of the veranda there are several outdoor showers). From the veranda guests can access the garden.

Upon request and NOT included in the price: maid service (Euro 15.00 per hr.) and cook to be requested at the time of booking; Extras to be paid at departure such as telephone, heating, and additional electricity.

DISTANCES: 6 km Radda in Chianti, 40 km Siena, 45 km Florence. 5 km tennis, 10 km horseback riding, 35 km golf course, 60 km Florence airport.

ACCESS to the villa: 300m of dirt road.

NOTE: Due to the high level of comfort and the equipment, the house is suitable for holidays also during the winter.
