From Milano - Bologna- or Florence Airport:

Highway A1: Milan- Bologna - Florence (after Florence North please follow the highway further on direction Rome "Roma"). Highway exit: Firenze Certosa (after Firenze Nord & Firenze Signa, direction Rome). Immediately after the highway exit "Firenze Cerrosa" ther is a traffic circle-please go straight on and take the direction to Tavarnuzze.  As soon as yo will enter Tavarnuzze, turn to your left (there is already a sign indicating Impruneta and there is a car-mechanist on your left side as well). Follow the direction signs to Impruneta. At approximately 200 meters after the village sign of "impruneta" there is a small (non-asphalted) path on your right - there is also a sign "Relais Villa l'Olmo". There you are - the Relais is on your left side.

STREET DESCRIPTION FROM ROME: Highway Rome - Florence (A1)
Highway exit : FIRENZE CERTOSA (after Firenze Sud)
Immediately after the highway exit "Firenze Certosa" there is a circle - take the direction to TAVARNUZZE.  As soon as you will enter TAVARNUZZE pls. turn to the left (there is already a sign indicating IMPRUNETA and there is a car-mechanist on your left).  Follow the signs to IMPRUNETA.  At approximately 400 meters after the village sign "Impruneta" there is a small (non-asphalted) path on your right - there is also a sign "Relais Villa l'Olmo".  The small non-asphalted path is at a few meters after the Fuel-Station "Shell".  Following the small path you will see the Relais on your left. There we are !  Driving time is approx. 2 hours and a half, depending on traffic.
