The Castle of Biagiano housing the Hotel has been built in 1232 and has been declared National Monument. This medieval castle near Assisi has kept intact all its unique characteristics: its massive stone walls; the central structure around which the living quarters were constructed; the underground cellars, so typical of the period and carefully restored, which today house the dining area where one may enjoi fine Umbrian cuisine. The rooms (all with baths) have been remodeled  in accordance with the medieval style and look out over the surrounding hills. The wide-open countryside is the perfect place for long, leisurely walks... in the midst of an unspoiled Nature.
