The property extends over 35 hectares of beautiful olive groves, vineyards and mixed woodland.  The building were constructed in the early '800 on the site of a castle or  fortified building as testified by the base of the external walls of the farmhouse and villa, the name "castellare" is also credible due to the prominent position occupied by the house.
