- Residenza Porta Guelfa is a charming
collection of suite apartments in the picturesque Umbrian city Bevagna. The grounds of the
residence are green and manicured, with perfect lawns and pathways lit by lantern light by
night. The buildings of the residence are painted in palest pink, perfect for keeping out
that Mediterranean heat, and combine beautifully with the green of the surroundings. The
views are to be truly savoured, with traditional stone buildings and cypress trees dotted
around, all silhouetted against perfect blue skies, no matter what time of year.
- Each of the 12 self sufficient suites at
the Residenza Porta Guelfa has a separate double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and
fully equipped bathroom. They are furnished with all mod-cons and decorated in traditional
Umbrian country style with mahogany wood, pretty colours and tiled floors. In the bedrooms
you will find pretty flower patterned covers and curtains, which filter the sunlight that
pours in through the large windows. Some rooms have four poster canopy beds, and vaulted
ceilings, while others have beamed ceilings and the addition of antique furniture. Ground
floor suites open directly on to the flowered terrace, while those on the higher floors
have private balconies from which to admire the view. The residence also make a spa suite
available to you, with a Jacuzzi and beautiful tiled steam-room.
