Hotel Ai Mori D'Oriente

If you arrive by train, just out of Venice S. Lucia train station you can choose to reach the hotel either getting on a water taxi that will leave you just in front of the hotel entrance or a ACTV public waterbus (vaporetto) lines 1 – 82 – 52 and get off at one of the following stops. Regardless which ACTV waterbus line you got on, you will be able to reach the hotel walking for just 5 minutes (for more information about public transports, please click on ACTV).

ACTV LINES 1 – 82
Arriving by ACTV public transport at S.Marcuola/Casino’ Pier: cross the Square, in front of the church, turn left following the Rio Terrà del Cristo, on your right, and along Rio Terrà Farsetti until the wooden bridge. After the bridge, turn right, go ahead to the first street on the left, Calle del Forno, and, at the end of it, on your right, you will find the Hotel.

ACTV LINES 51 – 52
Arriving by the ACTV public transport “vaporetto” at Madonna dell’Orto Pier, walk straight ahead along Calle Larga Piave until the canal and street “Fondamenta della Madonna dell’Orto”. After that , turn right, always along the canal -Fondamenta and just over the small wooden bridge on the left, walk ahead to Calle Loredan . At the end of it, turning left and you will be at the Hotel.

Getting there from the airport: Visitors go by water or by land across the lagoon to historical Venice. By water, the fastest and most expensive way is by water taxi directly to the hotel's landing. Less expensive and slower is a boat that stops 1 km (0.75 miles) from the hotel. From there, guests can take a vaporetto (waterbus) to the Madonna dell'Orto stop and walk to the hotel or take a water taxi directly to the hotel. By land there are taxis and buses that go from the airport to Piazzale Roma, the historical center's land-transportation terminus near the train station (Stazione Ferroviaria). Waterbuses go from Piazzale Roma and the train station to the Madonna dell'Orto stop.

Directions to hotel: The waterbus stop nearest the Hotel ai Mori d'Oriente is Madonna dell'Orto, 250 meters (273 yards) away. After getting off the waterbus, turn right and then turn left at the first street. Proceed on this street, bearing left and then bearing right until reaching Fondamenta Madonna dell'Orto and turn right. At the first bridge, cross the canal to the left to Fondamenta della Sensa and turn left. The hotel is directly ahead on the left.
