Through a private docking or Cà Rezzonico water-bus stop our guests will access to the hotel, hosted in a magnificent Moorish Palazzo from the XV century. The kindness and professionalism of our Staff and the maximum accuracy to every little detail will give the opportunity to our guests to have an enviable vacation, having breakfast on the Grand Canal terrace or sipping a flute of champagne soaking in the Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace. Palazzo Stern is in front of the Grand Canal, close to the public transportation service, with a private landing for taxi and boats. Very close to the Hotel Palazzo Stern there is Campo San Barnaba and Campo Santa Margherita, a part of the city were you can still “taste” the real Venetian life. Often you can find a small local market.

This Moorish Palazzo has been built during the 15th Century. Built by Malpaga Family (they will give their name to the Rio next to the building), it was originally  two floors. During the first years on the 20th Century the building has been bought by the Stern Family, art collectors and traders. They rebuilt the whole palace (bigger, 4 floors in total) using old parts and materials of the previous one. Then the new building has been enriched  with pieces of art, sculptures, mosaics and architectural elements from other buildings. The result is remarkable, a collage of memories from many different eras. Now, after two years of meticulous restoration, Palazzo Stern is magnificent.

All 24 rooms of the hotel are decorated following the rules of the Venetian style and tradition: precious wall fabrics, curtains and drapes, oriental carpets, stuccos, gildings, Murano glass and vases, chandeliers and appliqués created by glassblowing Venetian masters enrich the rooms. And make them even more welcoming when they offer your comfort and services such as Jacuzzi-Bath or Shower (or both in some rooms), a satellite TV, musical channels with cable radio, a telephone with direct external line, air-conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar. Every room has a Wi-Fi connection and Tea-Coffee facilities.

Standard Rooms
Standard rooms, 17 in total, are decorated in refined Venetian style. They overlook the canal Rio Malpaga, the internal Garden or Venice rooftops. All the rooms have massage-shower, air-conditioning, safe, mini-bar, tea&Coffee facilities, telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet connection. The dimension is from 16 to 25 square meters.

Superior Room
The Superior Room, overlooking the Grand Canal, is decorated following the rules of the Venetian style and tradition: precious wall fabrics, curtains and drapes, oriental carpets, stuccos, gildings, Murano glass and vases, chandeliers and appliqués created by glassblowing Venetian masters. It has Jacuzzi-Bath, air-conditioning, safe, mini-bar, tea&Coffee facilities, telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet connection.

Junior Suites
Junior Suites, 5 in total and overlooking the Grand Canal,  are decorated following the rules of the Venetian style and tradition: precious wall fabrics, curtains and drapes, oriental carpets, stuccos, gildings, Murano glass and vases, chandeliers and appliqués created by glassblowing Venetian masters. The dimension is from 30 to 33 square meters.  The rooms have all the comforts you need: satellite TV, musical channels with cable radio, a telephone with direct external line, air-conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar, Wi-Fi connection and Tea&Coffee facilities.

- 24h reception.
The staff will be glad to book (on request) the private transferal services with a personal assistant, guided visits and excursions in the city and on the islands, tickets for concerts, events, performances, theatre, restaurant bookings, baby-sitting and laundry services. We will be also be happy to organize for you your most special events: parties, dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings or any other occasions.

- Breakfast served: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., in our breakfast hall or in your room without a price surcharge;

- Room and porterage service: from 7:15 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.;

- Meeting room (with a maximum capacity for 8-10 people)

- Panoramic Terrace on the Rooftop with a Private Jacuzzi, must be reserved!!!

- Terrace overlooking the Grand Canal (on the ground floor, approx 80 square meters). From Springtime to Autumn we will use the Terrace for the Breakfast service in the morning and for the Bar service in the evening.
