The Lodge Hotel is an elegant Georgian residence built in 1836, located on the A8, within easy walking distance from city center, which has been restored & maintained to create a beautifully appointed private hotel, with elegant public rooms.  For the comfort of guests, all bedrooms are individually decorated & furnished to a very high standard, most of which are reserved for the sole usage of non-smoking guests.  Fresh fruit, flowers, and a small decanter of sherry are provided upon arrival.  Guests are invited to meet and relax in the friendly cocktail bar where there is an interesting and comprehensive array of aperitifs, spirits, wines, beers, and liqueurs to suit all tastes.   The dinner menu offers delicious freshly prepared foods, with an emphasis on fresh local produce.
