The redecoration of Dukes Hotel was completed towards the end of May 2007. The main focus of the redecoration was to give Dukes a breath of fresh air whilst maintaining the country town house feel that has been well loved by all our guests.

All 90 luxury rooms and suites have been upgraded, as have the public areas and the technology throughout the hotel. The fabulous Dukes Bar, recognized worldwide for its famous martinis, now has an even richer feel with its blue velvet chairs and portrait paintings from the Dukes collection. The Dining Room offers classic British dishes prepared simply, while desserts feature several old favourites. Dukes is ideally located for London’s finest restaurants, most fashionable shops, exciting galleries and fabulous theatre productions, with excellent links to the City and Canary Wharf.

The cool & sophisticated Dukes Bar, the most “happening” bar in St James’s, attracts both guests and locals and remains the perfect place for what many consider to be the best Martini in the world. The Dining Room at Dukes is once again open to everyone. Classic British dishes are prepared simply, while desserts feature several old favourites. A great wine selection includes a special reserve selection with predominantly Old World reds. Dukes has a Drawing Room and Conservatory overlooking a courtyard Zen garden; a relaxed environment for breakfast, proper afternoon tea, or light meal anytime.

Including an Italian marble steam room, a modern and well-equipped gym with high-tech cardio-vascular equipment and specialists in personal training and therapeutic body and beauty treatments. For guests who prefer to be outdoors, jogging routes around neighbouring Green Park and St James’s Park are available. Access to the Health Club is complimentary to guests staying at the hotel.

Dukes has three recently renovated and upgraded rooms which are perfect for meetings & private dining. A website reflecting the renovations is under construction and will be launched shortly. The Marlborough is licensed for civil ceremonies.
