Durley House is an "all suite hotel" with 11 suites, each of them
individually designed and elegantly furnished with antiques. This charming hotel provides
a relaxing atmosphere, excellent service, and above all, privacy... right in the heart of
vibrant London. As you walk up the steps towards the entrance of Durley House, you could
actually believe that you were walking into the hallway of a private residence. The wood
panel effect entrance invites you through to the homely reception area, where you are met
by the warmth of the glowing fireplace, surrounded by cushioned fenders, wishing you to
sit and rest those weary feet.
A portrait of Lord Durley looks on - holding many secrets surrounding the history of
Durley House. Just off to the right, you are enticed into the cozy sitting room - ideal
for taking afternoon tea after an exhaustive day shopping, or perhaps just simply to help
yourself to an aperitif from the private bar, before setting out for an evenings
entertainment at the theatre or to dine at one of London‘s many restaurants. The
grand stair case leading from reception, soon whisks you away to another world - that of
the splendor and comfort of the eleven elegantly furnished suites.
Set in Knightsbridge, Durley House has one of London's most fashionable addresses - that of Sloane Street. As you turn left out of the front door, you are just minutes away from stores such as Gucci, Prada, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols and Harrods. By walking the other way you will come to Kings Road & The Duke of York Square. In the Square you will find one of London's most exclusive delicatessens - Partridges, highlighted by the crests of Royalty, who also patronize this famous store. Kings Road is ideal for the more 'trendy' shopper. Kings Road eventually leads into the New Kings Road, lined with shops suitable for the interior designer and plenty of scope for the antique collector. Draycott Avenue is also a short walk from Durley House - offering stores such as Joseph, Chanel, Issey Miyake, the Conran Shop, Voyage and many more famous names. When you are tired of shopping, why not just stroll around the beautiful tree lined residential squares - Eaton Square and Belgrave Square being just a stones throw away. If you would prefer to leave behind the rather eccentric buildings, many of which are stately homes, reigning from the Victorian and Georgian eras, perhaps a walk in Hyde Park would suit. For the more energetic, you may wish to collect a jogging map from reception, or try your hand at rowing on the serpentine. Sloane Street offers so many diverse opportunities. All our suites are spacious and comfortable offering you privacy, comfort and
personalized service. The suites are all spacious and offer either one or two bedrooms,
making this a perfect stay for all. They are all equipped with a kitchen. If desired, room
service is delivered by the sound of a traditional private lift into your suite. You can
serve yourself, making this the ultimate in privacy or be served on by your own butler.
All suites have a working desk area, 2 line telephones, wireless high speed internet
access, concierge facilities including access into some of London's exclusive clubs, and
your own full bar. Durley House offers 24 room service, dishes prepared by our own Chef
and served by your butler by the sound of a traditional old service lift directly into
your suite.
For the ultimate private dining experience you need not be disturbed by anyone, simply
choosing to remove your order form the traditional lift yourself. Durley House can
prepare, breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snacks, private picnics in the gardens and
even home-made Brownies and Popcorn ready to watch your in house movie!

the perfect place for you to unwind, relax or maintain your fitness routine. It is located
just a five minute walk from the Hotel. Durley House guests enjoy complimentary access to

Located in private gardens, Durley House has access to 2 private tennis courts. Advance booking is required. If you need any extra help with that back hand our tennis Pro Tony is always ready to give lessons.
