The Egerton House is now a five star luxury townhouse hotel,
part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection. The Hotel has thirty luxurious air-conditioned
bedrooms on four floors all served by an elevator. Each room is fully equipped to today's
exacting international standards, with well fitted ensuite marble bathrooms, direct dial
telephones with dataport and voicemail, room safes, radio, satellite television, flat
screen televisions, ipod docs and video and private bar. Some of the bedrooms have four
poster beds and the majority overlook the garden.
The Private Dining Room at The Egerton House
is a quiet and discreet place in which to entertain a small group of your friends or
business colleagues. The room is ideal for parties of up to 16 people. The Bar at
The Egerton House is designed to be a quiet and comfortable place to have a drink. You
will find none of the hubbub of a big city bar but you will be able to have a discreet
conversation over a drink. The Bar is based on the honour system. You pour yourself a
stiff gin and tonic, sign a chit and post it. Well, that is how it is supposed to work. If
you want a bottle of wine or champagne then one of our butlers will be summoned to bring
it.
The single rooms at The Egerton House are ideal for someone travelling alone who wants to stay in a luxurious hotel at a sensible price. All our single rooms are decorated and equipped to the same standard as all other rooms in the hotel.
The Egerton House Hotel was created from the
redevelopment of two Victorian townhouses and the double rooms occupy the original master
and guest bedrooms. Every room has been individually decorated with traditional fabrics,
fine antique furniture, porcelain and paintings, whilst being fully modernised and
re-equipped to today's exacting international standards.
These deluxe double rooms span the whole width of the original Victorian townhouses. Each
room has its own individual charm and character giving to the guest the feeling that you
are staying in a luxurious home albeit with a highly efficient staff.
