Located on the edge of London's Hyde Park in Westbourne Terrace, W2, once described as "quite the finest street in London", the new Royal Park Hotel has been created from three Grade II listed townhouses. Dating from 1842, the buildings have undergone total restoration in 2003 with stunning interior design combining the grace of Victorian architecture and luxurious furnishings with the latest technology.

The hotel has 48 bedrooms including 11 suites. The beds are the main feature of the rooms as hotels are first of all about a comfortable night’s sleep. The magnificent and airy four poster and half tester beds which adorn the majority of the rooms (hand built by Andrew Ginger of Beaudesert) are dressed with simple white linen fabrics. Hand made mattresses, crisp cotton sheets, soft woolen blankets and plump pillows all add up to the best night’s sleep in London. Every room features a fine antique writing desk, breakfast table and chest of drawers - each piece unique and hand selected by Jonty Hearnden of the Antiques Road Show.  By contrast, on that chest of drawers or recessed in the wall sits a state-of-the-art flat screen Sharp LCD TV providing a wide range of terrestrial and satellite channels. Conveniently placed above the desk are power and telecommunications sockets, providing business guests with access to two telephone lines with direct dial facility, a modem connection, voicemail and fast broadband internet access, with security firewall. All rooms also have air conditioning, hairdryer, bathrobe, & slippers. The marble bathrooms are a return to tradition with thick fluffy towels and classic English Penhaligon toiletries.  Complimentary newspapers, a glass of whisky or sherry upon check-in, afternoon tea with warm scones, and a glass of champagne with canapés in the evening are served to all guests with the complements of the house. Facilities include turn down service, residential bar, garden, concierge service, 24 hour reception, and 24 hour room service.

Local attractions include Hyde Park, Oxford Street, Kensington Palace & Gardens, Portobello Market, Madame Tussauds, and the elegant district of Mayfair.
